Top Tips!
Book your wedding as early as you can
We recommend getting in touch as soon as you have a date in mind. Before a church wedding can take place, banns of marriage normally need to be read in church a month before your wedding. We ask for at least six weeks’ notice, but giving yourself plenty of time helps ensure everything can be arranged smoothly and allows you to prepare for your special day without unnecessary stress.
Not sure whether you’re eligible to marry here?
Many people are surprised to learn that they may have a connection to a church even if they do not attend regularly. You may be able to marry at St Michael and All Angels if you live within the Local Ministry Area, have a family connection to the area, or have an existing connection with the church or local community.
